NFU Announcement for decision in response to the change of Google Workspace for Education Storage Space Policy
In response to the announcement of "Workspace for Education Storage Policy Change" issued by Google [1]. NFU made the following decision on the meeting of "Students' school administration mailbox and the continuous operation of NFU cloud storage space” on April 28, 2022 (Thursday). The changes are as followings,
1. Google account users in our school (gs ang gm) need to adjust the storage space (cloud drive, google mailbox and google photo album, etc.) no more than 3GB (please refer to [2] for the usage capacity of the space, and refer to [3] for the backup method)
2. If the usage is not reduced to the limit (≤ 3 GB) before May 31, 2022, the account will be suspended; if applying for resumption of rights, the usage must be reduced to 3 GB before June 24, 2022.
3. From June 27, 2022, the accounts of those who have not applied for reinstatement and those who have exceeded the quota will be deleted.
4. In order to prevent the gs and gm accounts of all NFU users from being locked by google after the new Google policy takes effect, if you want to transfer to other cloud space, such as personal google account, please refer to [4]; for school users, if you want to transfer to office 365 cloud space (up to 5TB), please refer to [5] for the method.
